About the Author

Hello, my name is Nathan J. Yoder. I believe the Holy Spirit has led me in writing a series of books.

These books are called; The Adventures of Jaylee, Max and The Holy Spirit. When I started writing the first book back in 2019 my goal was to write a book that would help children deal with life. I picked back up writing and finishing the first book in early 2022.

The more I wrote, the more I felt The Holy Spirit leading me. Everything in my life, I know in my heart that Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior has helped me attain. Any time that I would be hit with stress, grief, anxiety, or any problem, I would pray, I rarely talk about issues in my life with anyone else. I pray and trust that the Lord will guide me in the right direction.

As I worked on the first book, the Holy Spirit began leading me into a book that leaned more on scripture and prayer. I began writing a fictional book for children and it turned into a fictional book for children that also teaches children how to pray, read their bible, and trust in The Lord.

My goal is to get this book into as many children’s hands as possible. I want parents to use this book to teach their children right and wrong through the bible and scripture. Ultimately, I want children and parents to ask Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior.

Once I finished the first book, I found an Illustrator. Alyssa Slocumb has been amazing to work with. I can’t wait to see what God has planned for her in the future. As she was working on the illustrations, I began searching for a publisher and editor. As I searched the internet, I came across a company called Sea Hill Press, which is owned by Greg and Cindi Sharp. I know that the Lord led me to them, as we began going through the book and talked about my vision, I began to see that they held the same Christianity values that I did. It has been a wonderful experience dealing with Greg and Cindi. I can’t thank them enough for making this process so easy!

The Lord puts people in our life for a reason, some bless us tremendously. As you find those people continue to surround yourself with people like this, they can help you grow spiritually.

I hope you enjoy this series of books. Parents be patient with you children as the Lord is patient with us.

God Bless You All
